North Sea King

A silent giant of the North Sea. Its shell can weigh over three kilograms – grown in cold water, shaped by ebb and flow and stone. It lives hidden among rocks and seaweed, up to twenty years old, slow and deliberate. It is not yet considered endangered, but the pressure of fishing and changes to its habitat are leaving their mark. A symbol of the sea's strength, resilience, and vulnerability.
