Noir Innocence

The work Noir Innocence combines innocence and strength – a young Hanoverian foal as a symbol of pure grace in contrast to baroque elegance.

The inspiration

Brand was born in Lower Saxony, a region where horses are part of everyday life. With around 250,000 horses, it is one of the most influential equestrian regions in Europe, characterized above all by the Hanoverian line with its calm presence, natural strength and refined expression in equestrian sport.

Horses have always been a part of our lives. Our children grew up with them, and many quiet moments in the stable and in the fields shaped their appreciation of their beauty. This close connection became the inspiration for a work depicting a young Hanoverian foal in a luxurious and tranquil setting, allowing its innocence and dignity to unfold in a serene interior rather than in motion or competition.

The artwork

“Noir Innocence” unites purity and power. The young foal symbolizes new beginnings and the timeless elegance that Hanoverian breeding brings to the world of classical horsemanship. The contrast between the refined interior and the animal's serene presence creates a contemplative atmosphere that invites the viewer to pause and reflect.
