The King of Falcons – White Gyrfalcon

The white gyrfalcon has been considered the most prestigious falcon in the Arabian Peninsula for centuries. Although native to the Arctic regions, it was brought to Arabia early on as a gift for rulers, tribal leaders, and kings. Its rare white plumage, exceptional hunting skills, and serene dominance made it a symbol of strength, purity, and authority. Today, only around 15,400–26,900 adult birds exist worldwide—a rare treasure still revered as "the king of falcons." In this work, it represents not hunting, but presence: calm, clear, superior. An animal that commands space without moving—and which remains the epitome of prestige in Arabia to this day.
